THE AREWA PAGEANT is a purpose-driven cultural pageant designed to empower women and girls of African descent through leadership, cultural pride, and community impact.
This platform goes beyond traditional beauty standards by focusing on confidence, character, service, and purpose, preparing contestants to lead on and off the stage.
Judging Criteria
Contestants are evaluated holistically on the following core areas:
• Leadership
• Cultural representation
• Purpose & platform
• Confidence & communication
Integrity, fairness, and transparency guide all judging decisions.
Categories

Princess Arewa (Ages 10–16)
Focused on confidence-building, communication skills, cultural awareness, and leadership foundations in a supportive, age-appropriate environment.

Miss Arewa (Ages 18–27)
Designed to cultivate advocacy, stage presence, purposeful leadership, and community engagement.
03
Ms. Arewa (Ages 28+)
Celebrates life experience, authenticity, impact, and leadership through influence and service.
